We are now in the generation of the meme, the vine retired, gif's are appreciated, and emoji's are heartfelt. Social media is a world to upload and download your mind, where we have become one with technology almost literally, where the mind speaks before the next scroll's one minute clip ends. We have not forgotten to go grab a beer with a friend, a movie with a pal, a walk with the dog but we have forgotten to simply look up. For all the things we have not forgotten those moments have our heads down in to technology, or having a 2-D experience while in 3-D allowing every thing about this present reality fade like a Snapchat after a few minutes in memory. We now filter reality without a class in Photoshop, as you are sure to find pig ears, and ice cream/ poop filters embedded in every video or photo as a feature even at the White House.
As we are living our days full to the brim and busy as bees let's not forget to deprogram, decompress, check out, and communicate with silence, nature, and those we care about without being plugged in for a spell. Sure that trip to the mountains where the sky and the mountain tip looked so breathtaking you had to share it was indeed beautiful on the old timeline
but do you recall if you experienced it with your eyes or through the blue rays in your smartphone?
